The U.S. Office on Colombia offers spring, summer and fall unpaid internships to indepenent and motivated individuals. Interns have the opportunity to significantly contribute to the working of the office and have, in the past, been responsible for compiling weekly news reports, coordinating delegations to Colombia, arranging speaker's tours in the U.S. for visiting Colombians, translating documents, following legislation, or otherwise assisting USOC's goals. As with any internship there are some administrative duties, however, they are relatively small.
Please note: Extensive knowledge of Colombia is not required for this internship, however some understanding of the situation is useful.
